About this episode

The Christian Health Club

Trying to get your family to eat healthy is a delicate balance of not being too strict and not being too lenient. People who grew up in strict food households often tell me they would go crazy eating every forbidden food as soon as they got out of the house and are now sugar-holics. Others had no boundaries at all and now struggle to like healthy foods. I've tried to land somewhere in the middle. I don't forbid things like sugar or chips, but I do my best to upgrade by choosing better ingredients. But, still, I worry. It's not easy being a nutritionist's kid and I feel like they've been making some "openly rebelling" choices lately. I'm struggling with the loss of control as my kids become teenagers and flex their independence muscles when it comes to food. We're talking all about it in this week's podcast and, as usual, turning to Scripture for guidance. Come listen to the two most important things to do when it comes to influencing your family's health! For more information and to access the show notes for this episode, visit my website here: https://www.thechristiannutritionist.com/podcast/126 We start June 1st! It's all about Biblical foundations like, circadian health, hormones, mitochondria and God's original design. It's a simple yet powerful approach to restoring balance by aligning with the foundations God established at Creation. We'll walk through the essential elements of well-being—water, sunlight, grounding, real food, breath, sleep, and movement—rooted in both Scripture and science. www.thechristiannutritionist.com
