The Shepherd Still Leads You Back | Psalm 80:1

Psalm 80 paints a powerful picture of God as the Good Shepherd, the One who leads, protects, corrects, and restores His people. The psalmist cries out, "Turn us again, O God… and we shall be saved," recognizing that the problem was not with the Shepherd, but with the sheep who had wandered away. That's often true in our lives as well. We become distracted, drift from God's direction, and suddenly realize we are far from where we should be. But the beauty of this psalm is the reminder that God still calls us back. He has not abandoned us, and we are never too far gone for His mercy and restoration. When God reveals that you've drifted, the right response is repentance, to turn away from what pulled you off course and turn back toward Him.
