About this episode
Where do you place your trust and confidence? In this devotional, we reflect on Psalm 20 and the tendency to rely on what we can see, hold, or control from our resources, positions, strength, or influence. While these things may feel secure, Scripture reminds us that they are temporary and will eventually fail. Psalm 20:6–9 points us to a greater foundation: trusting in the Lord our God. Some trust in chariots and horses, but true confidence, confidence that brings peace, is found in the God who never changes. He is the Creator, the Sustainer, and the One who hears us when we call. When our trust is placed in Him, we can stand upright, unshaken, and secure.
