About this episode
Psalm 37 continues to speak directly into a world that feels chaotic and unfair. It can seem like those who ignore God, violate His Word, and operate outside the bounds of righteousness are the ones truly winning. But Scripture calls that perception what it is—an illusion. Evil may appear to prosper for a time, but it does not last. Verses 9–11 remind us that evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait upon the Lord will inherit the earth. The "meek" are not weak—they are controlled, disciplined, humble, and steady in spirit. They do not allow anger, frustration, or fear to control them. Instead, they walk by faith, trust God's timeline, and remain focused on what He has placed before them. God is not on our timeline. Though we may ask, "How long, O Lord?" we can rest in the truth that He sees everything and will not allow evil to prevail. While the world may be filled with turmoil, those who trust Him can experience an abundance of peace. Remain meek. Trust God. Let Him be God—and live faithfully before Him.
