Social distancing and mask mandates have made us all more aware of the potential for contamination. In Bible times, people who were infected with various diseases were required to yell, "Unclean!" as they made their way in public. Masks, social distancing, and yelling "unclean" are all motivated by the same idea -- unhealthy people contaminate healthy people. It doesn't work the other way around. A sick person doesn't get well because they are touched by a healthy person ... unless that person is Jesus.
